Has anyone purchased Komplete select 15 and later managed to buy the standard or above bundles at upgrade price.

Or can you only upgrade to standard from a previous version of standard

From Standard to Standard is an Update

From Select to Standard is an Upgrade .

And you most certainly can upgrade from Select to Standard , I myself first upgraded from K14 Select to K14 Standard and then later from Standard to Collectors Edition. The upgrade from Select to Standard in particular is a great deal since that gives you the full version of all the N.I. apps.

Check the price section of this compare page : Compare Komplete 15 bundles

Thank you, that seems too good to be true value wise.

I only have about 200Gb left on my hard drive, I do have an external 1Tb drive. If I upgrade to standard will I be able to choose the instruments so that I don't fill my hard drive? Or as an alternative use the external drive?

Yes, both , you can use an external drive , just make sure that drive always gets same letter when attached and that the file system is the one that is the native of your OS , e.g. NTFS , also you should keep all apps and plugins on System drive and only point Downloads and Content to external drive. Also be aware when using drives for Content then you want a fast drive with a fast interface connection.

And of course then you can also decide what to install and what not to.

It's advisable to switch drive before the old is completely cramped. To switch install destination for new content then just change settings in N.A. file management for future install , it should still remember the old stuff. If you decide to move things then please follow procedures as described.

Using the Repair / Relocate All Function in Native Access

    .

P.S. I don't know if the voucher mentioned here (only valid for Komplete bundles) will work for your bundle purchase also (if it does then only good until the 30th)
