Thought someone else might like the contour of this volume control.

It uses a large part of the dial for the areas we normally use and the very bottom fades out fairly fast. The last value is about -40db before it shuts off. It's in a core macro if you want to try it and it is completely event driven. It also does not generate an event when the volume is changed. There's a pink noise source in the ensemble for evaluation. You can also customize the contour by changing the value in the pic. Note* it may indicate -128 as being off but the true output is actually 0.
