Replacement for Kontrol F1?

Looking to get another F1 as I am starting to dive into Stems and I dislike the clunkiness of the onboard controls for stems on the S4 MK3. I am seeing that the F1 is now discontinued, so I am wondering if one of the new slim line controllers are set up for easy stem use? Doesn't look like it, but wanted to check.

The following mod does stem control with the FX knobs at the top of the S4MK3. Use the latest beta i pushed this weekend. Haven't gotten around to updating page 1, but will do in a bit:

Also, even though F1 is quite old, it's really good, endlessly mappable and pretty cheap second hand (and sturdy as hell). You can't go wrong getting a second one.
