Maschine and EZdrummer 3

Hi. I love the Abbey Road drums but EZdrummer 3 has the great advantage of creating drum rhythms that match your song (tap2find and bandmate). That's why I'm planning to move back to EzZdrummer for my drumtracks, using Maschine MK3 for bass, keys etc. I'm not exactly a pro on Maschine so I'm not sure how to incorporate a whole drumtrack in Maschine. As a clip? Slice the track to patterns? I really want to be able to use Maschine's creative structure for my songs..

What I do with Midi drums is create patterns that represent each part of the song (Intro, Verse, Pre-chorus, Chorus etc..) then I create clips from those patterns arranging them as I see fit in Song view. It seems to work well for my workflow.

Ok. That seems logical. I'm not used to importing midi and working with clips yet but I'll give it a try! Thanks, appreciate it.

just make sure you import in KB mode, if you import to Pattern Mode it’s a mess!!!
