The NI Expansion category in Native Access is messy - clean it up now, please

The NI Expansions listing in Native Access as a category is becoming dense and needs to be subcategorised properly in Native Access, currently Massive X Expansions are mixed up with Maschine expansions, Leap expansions (and even factory libraries). Not a great UX.

With the portfolio growing NI clearly needs to clear up and sort the expansion portfolio within Native Access but subcategories:

  • Theme expansion bundle (combining different expansions below)
  • Leap expansions
  • Maschine (MPC and why not Push) expansions
  • Synth Preset expansions
  • Kontakt instrument expansions (if they are part of a theme bundle)

Another suggestion: Also consider the option to add quick download option within Komplete Kontrol where you can download new Expansion presets (similar to Arturia Analog Labs).

Another suggestion: Release more theme expansion bundles where we get Leap + Maschine / MPC / Push + Synth Presets + Kontakt Samples in a specific theme

Another suggestion: Add a free update for MPC and Push on current and upcoming Maschine expansions (this would make the samples very attractive), these versions could have sampled versions of synth presets. Would also love to see Cubase Drumrack support. Currently you can convert with Kit maker (but it is not perfect) but the cost of porting the kits properly from the expansions should be very low and improve the UX and value considerably.
