Maschine Jam smart strips jumping values

When I set a parameter value using one of the smart strips, it will be quite accurate as long as I keep my finger on the smart strip. But often when I take my finger off the smart strip, the value jumps forward or backward a little.

I don't have fat fingers myself, but even when using my pinky finger I can't manage to do this without the value jumping.

Is there a technique or setting to improve this? Or is it possible to use some kind of stylus?

if you hold shift , you get a finer resolution

If you press shift whilst your finger is on the strip , the strip wont move anymore , untill you remove your finger and place it back
