Why does NIHostIntegrationAgent ask for permission to find devices on local networks?

What might the NIHostIntegrationAgent need access to the network for? In my case the only external device I'm connected to is a Kontrol S88 MK3 via USB. Perhaps they have wireless devices that require access?

    could be for maschine+, it has wifi, but I don't know for sure.
