KOMPLETE AUDIO 1 and a microphone

I'm planning to buy a microphone to use with KOMPLETE AUDIO 1. Do I need to know some technical requirements? I'm thinking about AKG P3S. Will it work fine or I will have some difficulties for wrong impedance or something?

Please advise.

To be fair - this is not a technical requirements board - it is a user to user board.

Most of us know about as much as you when it comes to buying microphones to plug into an audio interface.

If you want some better analysis - that will need to come from your own digging or consult with a professional who deals with microphones exclusively.

FWIW - in my travels - if an audio interface has an XLR input - any mic with XLR - especially dynamic mics - should be just fine. Like the AKG one you are looking at.

If it were me - I plug all my mics into a preamp first to gain a bit more control - but you should be able to plug that AKG right into the KAudio 1 and get going.

I think there are no limits on what kind of microphone can you use… the specifications are very "wide"…

IMO you don't need to have an idea, when just plugging a normal mic into an audio interface.

If you want to have an idea (i.e. learn) then there is always Google.

imo such kind of answers don't give a topic starter anything.

except a feeling that he should never ever use this place.

    Thanks!

P.S. I didn't want a deep technical analisys, I just didn't want to buy a mic and then to figure out that it doesn't go along with my sound card.

I'm just giving you an honest answer. As a beginner, you don't need to know what that means.
