Can't install Native Access 2 on my M1 Mac Studio (macOS 15.5)

When I attempt to install NA2, I get this error message: "The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again."

I can confirm that the Locked checkbox in File > Get Info for the NA installer is deselected and that the installer's permissions are set to Read & Write. Also, I have all of the following turned on in macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access: Native Access, NIHardwareAgent, and NTKDaemon.

Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution?

OK, I figured out a solution: I had to delete the older version of Native Access. I used AppZapper to delete both the old Native Access app and its preference file. After that the installer didn't balk, and the error message did not appear. Apparently, you can't overwrite an old version of NA with a newer version (even though the installer app asks you if you want to replace the old with the new). Seems like a bug they ought to fix.
