It seems like the S4 mk3 ASIO driver needs updating for modern CPUs to avoid stuttering

The last release was 2018, which is before Windows 11 and before CPUs were hybrid e/p core, etc.

I just upgraded from an AMD 3600 to an Intel 225f and I can't use the ASIO driver at all without it cutting out, popping, slowing down and then massively tight looping/stuttering.

I've turned off CPU parking. I've tried turing off C states, SpeedStep, SpeedShift, Turboboost, RAID, etc. I've tried Traktor 3.x, Traktor 4.x Nothing prevents it other than uninstalling the ASIO driver and using the Windows driver. So I'm stuck using the windows driver but this means I can't use the line in on my controller as a source in OBS.

You're using the Windows driver. Use the ASIO one.

Start by debloating your OS. That can make the difference if there are no deeper issues with the driver for S4..

Then check the LatencyMon and figure out which process and driver are showing the biggest numbers.

    Worty a try.
