Hello

I have Traktor Pro 3 and 4 and I can't get timecode vinyls to work with an AUDIO 6 card.
I can play vinyls thru, but no timecode.
My computer is a Mac 12.7.6
I have the same problem with a friend's Mac who has a MAC 11.7.10 and it is impossible to play timecode vinyls.

Help please

    Hello,

so i guess you tried all tutorials, have the time code vinyls even worked once for you? what error message do you get if you try to calibrate them?

    Hello

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

No, the vinyls never worked for me. I bought them from someone on Le Bon Coin with the AUDIO 6 in early 2024 and I left them aside until today.
There are no error messages, the software is open and it doesn't detect any encoded vinyl, nothing happens during calibration; it's as if the software remains in internal mode when it's in external mode.
If I press PLAY on the computer, it launches the song on the track and outputs to the mixer.
So there is definitely sound coming through the card, but originally, I should have had a signal during the TIME CODE calibration.

I had Traktor Scratch 2 10 years ago, then I switched to a controller. I'm starting to play vinyl again and want to take advantage of the TIME CODE feature.

THRU mode with unencoded vinyl also works.

    I admit I'm lost.

So with time code you don't even get a signal or see the level indicator moving. Maybe you have MK1 time code vinyl and you need MK2. Unfortunately I can't find information how to tell what version you have maybe it's on the sleeve. But the traktor audio 6 should have come with MK2 vinyl as far as I can find out. We may need some help from someone who knows traktor much better that me, i will @lord-carlos and hopefully he has an idea.

P S. Have you set the inputs correctly for the decks?

The Timecodes are MK2 and normally everything is set correctly in the preferences.

And if you use a live deck with input 1-2 set and play a normal vinyl does it then work? You use a Mac, so have you set the inputs s trusted or what it's called like, Mac has a security feature where all inputs are blocked cause they could be a mic in. It's called "microphone access permission" under security or something like that.

    Perfect
    Thank you very much.
I checked the microphone access option in security, and it works.
