Native Stems support for X1 MK3?

Hi, I am interested in the X1 MK3. Does it now have native stem support and if so, how? I've seen a few mappings but the feedback has been rather lukewarm.
Note: Translated by mod (Sunborn), for this time only.

NI opened their qml files in order for their users to pick up where devs left. This means that Controller Manager now has much less chance to receive any bigger updates as the QML editing evolves.
They expect us to be a programmers and do devs job basically.

Thanks but dont get me wrong,I will have a look, but for such a expensive controller, I expect a nativ solution from NI.

Oh wow, I´m a UI Designer and our devs also expect us to be devs. :D
But from the product designer experience, such a cool feature like Stem, aspecialy when you now can create your own total easy, should be nativly integrated to the leader latest controller.1 -
If you want to wait for NI you may well have better chances writing a letter to St.Nicolaus.
Why do you think i started the project? 😄

Hmm ok, than I probably buy a used X1 MK2, since there isnt really any new thinks I need.

It's a no-brainer to do this. We are not likely to ever get an official answer as to why native integration of new (or not so new but important) features to current hardware went Dodo.

It is but you need z1 M k2.

By adding your mod, is it possible just to add the stems functions?

Nope. Sorry. But a lot of the features are optional toggles that can be changed in setup mode.
What are the functions of the mod that you would rather not have?

I find the standart functions of the X1 pretty good, I just would exchange the functions for effects, for the stems. Like the mapping for my X1 MK2:

You can do exactly the same for the X1MK3; overmap the controls like in the mapping you linked to. You don't need the mod to do it, although i would recommend you use the second (minimal) mod i made, since it fixes the tempo controls (SYNC+LOOP ENC). It removes the mixer overlay, but any overmapping of the FX section will overwrite all three layers so it doesn't matter. Screen feedback will not be possible by overmapping though.
Have you done any overmapping before?

Ok, sounds interresting. For me, the X1 is used to controll just deck 1 and 2.
Nope, I havent.

Load the mapping you mentioned (X1Mk2) and have a look at it's content.
Add the same assignments to your X1Mk3 mapping file with the same settings but the X1Mk3 control names (Knobs and Buttons). The assignments can be added by pressing 'Add in…' and 'Add out…' at the bottom of the assignment list (which will be empty at the start).

Ok and whats the difference between mapping and mod?
