Is it possible to hybrid live Traktor X1 mk3 and Maschine Mikro mk3?

Hi! I want to use Traktor X1 mk3 and Maschine Mikro mk3 for hybrid live. I'm using Windows. I made pref for both controllers the same audio (ASIO4ALL) and enabled LINK in both Traktor pro4 and Maschine 2. I can see that the link is ok because the tempo changes on both devices. But I can only hear X1, Mikro is silent. What should I do to hear Maschine?

The problem was solved with right ASIO driver.

I bought a Z1 mk2 and no sound came out of the Z1 until I installed this driver.

How do you even output the sound? I suppose not from an audio interface, since you say you use ASIO4ALL.

In any case, the selected driver should allow to be shared by multiple programs. Wasapi Shared Mode is exactly for that, but the audio would be going out of the computer interface.

Another possibility could be using one of those virtual cables programs (which allow to virtually route sound), but I should check how to set it up before giving suggestions on how to use them for a case like this

Yes, I am using the PC interface now. And I am using ASIO4ALL in both programs (Traktor pro4 and Maschine 2). I tried Wasapi Shared mode, but Maschine 2 froze in this case, and Traktor Pro 4 stopped playing.

As far as I know, ASIO4ALL doesn’t allow to be shared

I'm sad! WASAPI (shared mode) doesn't work. All other drivers work, but this one freezes both Traktor and Maschine((. I'll get a Z1 mk2 soon. Do you think this will help my situation?

you likely need to use VB potato or VB matrix…
you basically put your audio interface as the main out on the VB application….

then all the applications pipe their outputs to VB potato via the VB channels inside the other applications..

you can gauge things with this video… too many steps to explain

note: if you are not using an asio supported audio interface… dont bother with using this method… as it is based on using a Asio supported audio interface

just to shed more light… for the above video

it is basically using virtual channels which pipe the audio from lets say Traktor into Maschine

basically you set Maschine as the main out…

Traktor's audio goes out & into the Maschine ins… (be sure you dont create a feedback loop)

Traktor is setup on a different asio channel… ie Aux or which ever one you choose ….

and maschine is on another… Vaio or Vaio 3

Thank you! I watched this video and my brain exploded)) Maybe there is an easier way to combine X1 and Mikro? Even in NI's promo video for X1 the guy just plugs and plays these devices, (or is it just an ad))Anyway, thank you very much. I'll wait a bit for my new Z1, maybe it will help me. Otherwise I'll dive into mapping and piping!)
