I would appreciate your advising whether Kontact 6.8.0 and the current version of Native/Access are compatible with macOS 15 Sequoia, to which I would like to upgrade. Thank you!
Kontakt 6 was discontinued in October 2022, when Kontakt 7 was released. Discontinued means it doesn't get updates anymore, including compatibility ones. this is how it works for most software companies. MacOS Sequoia was introduced in September 2024.
FYI, Kontakt 7 was discontinued in September 2024, when Kontakt 8 was introduced, so both these versions are officially supported on Sequoia. Feel free to try out Kontakt 8 Player, the free version. For all NI libraries that's enough.
I am sure there are users in here that have tried it but as far as “official” support - K6 would ideally be on the Sequoia Compatibility List if it was properly tested on Sequoia.

Disappointing that Native Instruments hasn't performed the testing without which there is no assurance that Kontakt 6.8.0 will work with Seqouia.
Well to be fair - Kontakt 6.80 was most likely tested extensively with whatever Mac OS was current in June 2022 but K6 was effectively discontinued as soon as K7 came out.
And now - Kontakt is at version 8.3 (with 8.4 waiting in the wings).
Like any company with a huge catalog and only so much time - NI focuses their Q&A on the latest versions of their apps on the most current operating systems.
Your only recourse now is to try it yourself - if it will even install. If it does - you might be surprised.
