I have been waiting months and months. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

There are addresses I introduced through this window months ago, I don't want them here anymore and there is no freaking way to remove them!

Deleting the database does NOT fix it. Please stop suggesting that. These values must be hidden somewhere in the Registry or very hidden somewhere in the drive. I have searched all around without success.

NI said they were working towards fixing this. LAST YEAR!

I only want my Komplete ultimate library here. Simple!

Because of this issue the K8 library organization is a mess, and I cannot easily use my S88MK3 to browse in my Komplete library.

Sorry about my rant but this bug and the lack of a fix is ridiculous.

i already opened a ticket about this last year. That's how I know they were looking into this.

No I'm not going to open another ticket. It is a waste of time obviously.

BTW: Because of this bug. This article is not valid at all.

How to Add Non-Player Libraries to Kontakt 7 / 8's Browser – Native Instruments

Most specifically the part that says: "If you want to remove the Non-Player Library from the Browser again, click the cogwheel in the bottom left, select the Library and click the Remove button."

Please show a specific library you cannot remove so we can get an idea what you are talking about.

Does not matter. The addresses are all hidden no matter what. Dang it man! Fix this!

Well - I do not think they are hidden - you simply still have the files where Kontakt is still picking them up (somehow).

Questions - Are any of these things using Quickload? What happens if you actually blow one of these libraries right away from where it is stored?

And despite your resistance - it would really help to see a screencap (within the Library view) of one of these rouge libraries. What happens if you highlight one of these - do you get presets in the right panel? Can you actually load the library normally?

If I try to add the same addresses the dialog tells me the addresses are already in.

Some addresses are root disc drives where I have libraries spread for better streaming.

This is all I see now that I moved the Komplete folder and added it again:

    This is how K8 looks:

I can load presets but nothing looks organized, don't see any Komplete Icons:

This is what I get when I add "D:" or any folder that I know I previously added:

    OK this helps.

First thing - never add a root drive. That is a huge part of this issue. All my perfectly working third party libraries are added by specific directory.

And you will never see any icons for any of these libraries.

Second - that second Duplicate Paths error indicates that Kontakt is clearly checking something. Will see if I can find out where this is coming from.

Yeah I suspect that's the issue. The root drive.

Or not, cause some other addresses are folders. And still are invisible in that dialog.

Unless the root folder messed up something in that list.
