"Hello Native Instruments Support Team and Community,
I'm experiencing a critical issue with my Kontrol S61 MK[Your MK Version] following a failed firmware update. During the update process via Native Access, I received the error message: 'Looks like something went wrong, please re-run the update on your computer.' I attempted to re-run the update, but the error persisted.
Unfortunately, now my Kontrol S61 is completely unresponsive. It powers on but only comes up with the same error message
I suspect the issue might be related to my internet connection. I was attempting to download and install the update via a 5G tethered connection from my iPhone (I've just moved house and have no broadband until Wednesday, hence why i used this method). After doing some research I now understand that this might have caused instability or data corruption.
My Questions:
- Is it highly likely that using a 5G tethered connection for the firmware update caused this issue?
- Is there a recommended procedure for recovering from a failed firmware update on the Kontrol S61 MK?
- Are there any manual firmware recovery tools or methods available for this device?
- If recovery is not possible, what are my options for repair or replacement?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
