Is Komplete 15 Select considered a 'full version'?

Recently downloaded a fantastic dulcimer plugin (The Wildmother's Dulcimer), which requires the 'full version' of Kontakt.

I have the Kontakt version that came as part of the Kontrol S88 Mk2 88 software bundle, and apparently, it's not the 'full version'. Gah.

Consequently, I need to purchase 'full version', and on the NI "Compare Komplete 15 Bundles' website page, it offers the "Komplete Select" versions which are much more affordable.

Long story short: Will I be able to use the (Pianobook) Dulcimer plugin (and probably many others) with the Komplete 15 Select version?

Yes - all Standard, Ultimate and Collectors Edition versions of Komplete contain Kontakt 8 (Full)

I don't see Kontakt listed as being included in any of the Komplete Select packages:

Kontakt (Full) is not part of any Select package.

Users of these will get Kontakt 8 Player.

The Kontakt 8 Player is free. You don't even have to buy Komplete Select.

p.s. I only posted, because I think your original answer started with "Yes", but should probably have been a "No". But in an attempt not to upset you, I didn't phrase it like that. But I may very well have failed. i.e.

No, because Komplete 15 Select will not get you a "full" version of Kontakt.

Thanks SO MUCH for the clarity, gang!

nico5…: thanks for the link…. but… unfortunately, the Free player version still had the Dulcimer in 'demo mode', so didn't work.

However, on that page, there's the option to purchase the 'Full Kontakt'. ( I was able to 'crossgrade' for $150;-)

Dulcimer now works, and surely a plethora of others will also work.
