M+ Save midi out transpose when saving a group or a sound
Hi,
I'm trying to create a group preset for controlling my novation drumstation, where each drumsound is mapped to a different sound in the group.
I create a voice for each drumsound:
- transpose to note of drumsound
- macro's for all drumsound CC parameters
Whatever I try, saving individual sounds, saving the whole group, all the macro's are saved but the transpose value is not …which means I'd have to reenter the transpose values for each drumsound (>20) at every load.
Apart from creating a template project, any ideas for saving the transpose data in a sound/group (+midi out & channel)?
Regards,
Ilja

Why not save as Lock States every pitch transpose, you have 64 Lock State slots.
Other way would be to save patterns with transpose MIDI so you can change it whenever you need it.
It's how I would do it.

@Iljanated did you load the saved Group with the +Routing option?
From the manual:
8.6.5. Loading Groups with Routing
When the file type Groups is selected, the +ROUTING button. When the +ROUTING button is activated the audio and MIDI routings stored in the Group are also loaded, potentially overwriting previous routings in the selected Group. When the +ROUTING button is off, any audio and MIDI routings saved in the Group will not be loaded, thus preserving any existing routings in the active Group.
▶ Press SHIFT + Button 3 (+ ROUTING) to include or exclude audio and MIDI routing when Groups are loaded.
→ When the option is activated (Button 3 lit and + ROUTING label highlighted), Groups are loaded together with their audio and MIDI routing.
Probably that will also load the transpose value of each Pad.
