Cloud Supply and Nacht MPC Edition
I purchase these for my MPC live 2. I received the serial numbers for each. The instructions are as follows:
- Connect your MPC hardware to Wi-Fi
- Log into your inMusic Profile on the MPC
- Go to Preferences > Activations
- Press “ENTER SERIAL”, type the serial number above, and press “REGISTER”
However the the serial numbers I received in my email are 30 characters long and the MPC activation inMusic Profile on the MPC only allows for 25 characters.
What am i doing wrong?

Yes those are the instructions I followed. Im receiving an error "Please enter a valid Serial Number" . Yes i've check both SN many many times. I even had someone else enter the SN and still getting the error message.

Hmm do I have to register it 1st in inmusicbrands website first? On my MPC Live 2 I do not have the option of "New Product - Software"

I purchased from native-instruments.com. Im currently login to this website and can see my orders. Yes using the same email.

Sorry , I do not know that. I have only the help pages referred to and the video linked to as information.
The video says that you have to download inmusic software center
If neither helps then you most likely have to ask Akai MPC support or N.I. Purchase Support .

Ok thanks everyone. I don't have a PC or a MAC. I use Linux. I cannot DL the InMusic App and the website does not allow you to register software, only hardware. I'll have to figure something out.

You can contact Akai for help by clicking this link but if you're not using a supported OS then…… 🤔

I apologize for the confusion. Initially, I thought that was the issue, but it turned out not to be the case. After contacting Akai support, I learned that you first need to download the InMusic App and register your software there. Then, you can log in to your InMusic profile on your MPC hardware to activate it. Unfortunately, I only use Linux, and it appears that you cannot register the software on the InMusic website only in the app.

I did speak with someone from Akai who seemed to think you could register directly on the device…
I also linked him to this thread so hopefully he can assist you.
Can you not run the app under emulation (Wine etc)?
