NI Kontrol S series Mk3

Hi, it’s impossible to get out of add serial number into my Kontrol S series Mk3.
1, Hardware Connection Service is installed and is up to date.
2, I have tried to update my Kontrol to the latest firmware with the KSMK3 Updater but my Kontrol will not connect?
3, I have checked Native Access for updates everything is updated.
Am I missing something?
I am very disappointed with native instruments I bought Komplete ultimate Maschine plus and Kontrol mk3 3 months ago and I still haven’t used my Kontrol yet I have not had any help from NI all I get is the same article which I have tried numerous times.

Hi, I have now managed to send a ticket with my issues they are going to reply in a day or two, I really appreciate the help and support you have provided.

Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS
In general then best advice is that you need to use a self-powered USB-C hub between keyboard and computer when attaching keyboard while also using an USB-C PSU attached to the keyboard . Other than that then check the troubleshooting links :

Sometimes people can have weird cable problems , else then the only advice left to give would be to detach keyboard and then try and uninstall the hardware connection and any drivers and the DFU (section 4) and check section 4 and 5 here also. You can also try updating USB drivers and try using an USB-C to A adapter and use an A port while using an USB-C PSU. If it still doesn't work then you need to contact N.I. Komplete Kontrol Support.

I will try what you suggest, thank you,but it’s the contacting NI support which is the problem all that happens is I end up getting directed back to the sane old article that I have been trying for 3 months without any joy.

Hi, with my level of knowledge, it is impossible to uninstall the hardware connection, so I Reinstalled it. I changed the cables around using USB C to C and USB A to C cables. There are no drivers for a Mac to download, only for Windows; I have a Mac. I asked the AI bot for an email address or telephone number so I could communicate with someone but got nowhere.

You can only use the link provided above at the end of the post to contact support, you have to be logged in and on the bottom of the page you should see it. Then you have a chatbot you describe what you have done and if the bot shows you the same help page that has not worked you say that. Then you should be forwarded to a human, but not live as far as I remember, you will get an email and can write this way. And if you open the firmware updater, do you get any error prompt? If you reinstalled the connection service was the keyboard connected? Try again with the keyboard off maybe.

There are no drivers for a Mac to download, only for Windows; I have a Mac.
I think that the equivalent of that on Mac is to remove/reset it from the list of hardware on the Mac. e.g. My USB MIDI Device isn't working on my Mac or "deleting unused midi device out of audio midi setup" ?

Please read : how to get support ! including section Website functionality . (You ought to be able to create a ticket if you are logged in and then rather than going through suggest bot articles then respond : did not help)
I will also ask @Jeremy_NI , to take a look when he arrives next week and make sure that you managed to create a ticket.
