After I sent the info to NI Support, I tried the 'Repair' option for Microsoft Visual C++ (for both versions x64 and x86) - that didn't fix it. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled them - also didn't fix. Unfortunately, I just saw the last email from support and they suggested to uninstall and reinstall which I already know doesn't work in my case at least.

From your link, I've done what is relevant already except the "Re-register the Ucrtbase Dll File" step and a system restore. I'll try to re-register first.

    Thank you for sharing.

It's rather late here and I don't think that I will be looking into more this evening, and also not sure how much or if I will be able to contribute further.

But in any case then please continue respond to supports emails with your latest findings 🙂

I see that this post mentions mentions redistributable(s) in plural , perhaps not all versions of redistributables re-installs or re-register the correct version of the .dll ?

I did a clean install of Windows 11 that left out all the bloat. I’m not even signed into a Microsoft account on this box.

So your windows is updated then and OK after your SFC scan ? Also , you ought to check for manufacturer updates to computer (e.g. drivers and BIOS) since the odd user have also fixed a ucrtbase.dll problem with a computer manufacturer update/fix - whatever that that was.

Also then you could try do a diagnostic reboot where you load only what is necessary , some of the problems that some people have experienced with ucrtbase.dll in some cases has been due to conflicts with other software..

Has anyone else managed to get an answer from NI's Support on this matter?

This started happening to me a couple of days ago, I've tried everything including a fresh installation of Windows and look:

Faulting application name: NIHostIntegrationAgent.exe, version: 1.17.1.5, time stamp: 0x67dbecd3
Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.26100.3624, time stamp: 0x45295404
    Exception code: 0xc0000409
    Fault offset: 0x00000000000a4ace
    Faulting process id: 0x1420
    Faulting application start time: 0x1DBA1586C0DD961
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Hardware\NIHostIntegrationAgent.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll
    Report Id: 407c1b4a-655b-4140-b081-d69c95310c71
    Faulting package full name:
    Faulting package-relative application ID:

I've uninstalled all the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2022 and the issue still the same. It doesn't help that trying to log a support call is difficult in itself to get an answer.
