Maschine 3 software problem

Hello everybody,

new user here. My maschine 3 software won't start anymore. The screen just freezes when loading the last plug-in.

If I open Maschine trough Ableton it works fine though.

Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

Already uninstall/installed it but it's still the same.

Thanks in advance

    From the support pages:

    Click Me

….or you can just hit Esc (when the splash screen appears) to skip scanning.

@Tinitus Have you updated to the last version of Maschine 3? 3.1 should bne available in Native Access. It fixes some issues regarding scanning plug-ins.

If that doesn't work, what plug-in is it stuck on?

"If I open Maschine trough Ableton it works fine though".
It froze while loading the last VST, and I had to terminate the process. I did the same, and I loaded Maschine 3.1.1 in Ableton Live 12, but it won't load any instruments (All Instruments) or effects (FX). The rest works as long as it doesn't require instruments.

Selecting any of these, for example, Band Echoes, produces the following error: Guitar Rig 7 could not be loaded.
Therefore, it's not working properly in my DAW, nor as stand alone. What's the solution?

Just a suggestion, do you have any shortcut links stored in your VST folders? I had a similar problem, also on my DAW (Samplitude), when scanning the folders. Found a couple of shortcut links (no idea how they got there 😏), deleted them and the scans worked fine after.

@Pleyadino Have you tried to reset Maschine's database?

    Reinitialize the Maschine database

    1. Note: The "AppData" folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden Windows folders.
    2. Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Maschine 2  or Maschine 3 folder.
    3. Note: Deleting other NI product folders could result in unexpected behavior with other applications.
    4. Reopen the Maschine software to check that the issue has been resolved.

Also one user reported that these steps fixed the issue:

"I renamed ni-plugin-info.exe, rebooted the computer and was able to start KK, rescan and everything works. Had to do the same with Maschine 3."
