If you get this message when opening Native Access:

First please run the attached NTKDaemon Cleanup Script (either via command prompt, or drag the script file onto a terminal icon)

  • Restart Computer
  • Download and run the NTKDaemon installer from here by right clicking the installer pkg-file and selecting “open

Restart your computer again and open NA2

If that's unsuccesful, then please contact our Native Access specialists here: http://bit.ly/NIsupport_install

If you can't wait, the fastest way is to downgrade to Native Access 1: How to Downgrade Native Access 2 to Native Access 1

I had to go this route as part of getting the beta version updated. I skipped the 'restart computer' step and it was fine.

I also had some trouble running the cleanup script, and ended up hacking it with a chmod 777, could well have been how I fired up terminal causing a problem

I had to type "sh" in the terminal before dragging the script into the window.

typing sh helped to get the script to run but them got the following:

The default interactive shell is now zsh.

To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.

Hey to all... when I try to run the Daemon skript, either with sh or without, I get "permission denied". Is there any known workaround/routine? Thx!

Little update. Some users were able to fix the issue by doing the following:

    1. Go to Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities and open the Terminal app.
    2. Copy this command line:
    3. sudo /Library/Application\ Support/Native\ Instruments/NTK/NTKDaemon.app/Contents/MacOS/NTKDaemon
    4. Paste the command text into Terminal and press enter.
    5. Enter your macOS password when prompted.
    6. Start Native Access.
