Hi all, I am a deejay, I use TRAKTOR PRO3 for deejaying and MASCHINE for production. I recently lost my Traktor AUDIO10 sound card, given my needs I want to turn to a MOTU Ultralite MK5. My question is about OS compatibility, because I have two setups, a first with a late 2011 mac OS10.13 (which I take with me for gigs) and a 2022 M1 OS14 (which stays in the studio). And of course I want to use this sound card for both setups. I can see on the Motu website: Driver Version: 92128 / Release Date: Sept. 15, 2022 / macOS 12, macOS 11, macOS 10.15, macOS 10.14, macOS 10.13 Which apparently does the trick for my old Mac. Then Driver Version: 96480 / Release Date: Oct. 1, 2024 / macOS 15, macOS 14, macOS 13, macOS 12, macOS 11, macOS 10.15 Which apparently does the trick for my new Mac. So far I think everything is fine, I install the drivers corresponding to my OS on my 2 different Macs and that's it. Then for the Firmware, and this is where I have a doubt.. can I install the latest firmware available (Version: 2.0.8+2568 / Release Date: Feb. 12, 2025) on the MOTU and then use it on my two macs with two different OS and drivers? And this brings me to a second question, apparently the firmware is installed via the latest version of CUEMIX, and here I also have a doubt as to whether the latest version of CUEMIX works with my OS10.13 ...There you know everything .... HELP! )) thank you

Hello,
you use the cue mix software according to your os version, a new firmware does normally not break the function with older drivers and stuff in the case of audio interfaces. But in this case the motu support is a better address to ask i would say.

Have you got it working, if the mixer software comes with the driver, there should be no problem if you just install the correct driver for your os. Also l, like I said the firmware should be no problem.
