What Compatible software is with Novation Technology?

According to Novation, the SL MkIII is fully compatible with any Native Instruments NKS-ready software.
I think that so far, is the only one who has integration with NI software, however, to be 100% sure, you have to ask at Novation too.
Of course any other Novation device can be used too, but only as a typical Midi controller.
You can control Komplete Kontrol with various Novation keyboards now. The integration is one way, so you don't get any display of the parameters or UI on them in the same way that you do on the NI MK3 keyboards. The premapped keyboard ranges are the SL MKIII, FLKey and Launchkey MK3/MK4.
That’s right. All Launchkey MK3, Launchkey MK4, FLkey, and SL MkIII controllers are now NKS Ready. Komplete Select 15 has been added to the software bundle for these controllers.
As explained here, integration is currently uni-directional, which is incredibly useful for many users—but it’s not the ultimate goal. Apologies for the delayed reply. No firmware update is currently required—these products achieve control using dedicated Custom Modes, which can be added to the hardware via Components.
I notice that when using Komplete Kontrol with Launchkey mk4 controllers that when you scroll forward or backward through plugins or presets every other one is skipped. For example, if you are on preset one, you press a pad one time, and now you are on preset 3. Any ideas how to fix that?
Sounds as if you would need to contact either Novation Support (most likely) or N.I. Support (all)
Also please notice that when you contact NI support then you will receive an AI auto-response and it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.

It could be the way your pad is configured. As a test, if you press and hold the pad does it progress just 1 preset then progress again on release? Could be reacting to both the Note On and Note Off signals.
Also, are you testing this in the KK app and not within a DAW just to rule out any MIDI routing happening in your DAW?
I just purchased LAUNCHKEY-MK4. Watched videos and was quite impressed with integration. After I have setup and connected a keyboard, I faced a total disappointment :-( KK is a mess. Nothing works out of the box. Provided templates have some minimal functionality but most of it is useless.
My question here is: How can I assign a control to a Novation encoder. So far when I try this there are all kinds of crazy things happen (i.e. several controls get assigned to one knob), or nothing gets assigned. Right click (Win10) also goes crazy. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The controls which show up at the top

Once setup, this is how to access the controls for the predefined NKS products and the various pages if needed:
You can make edits to the controls per preset, as explained here: https://www.native-instruments.com/ni-tech-manuals/komplete-kontrol-manual/en/using-plug-ins#customizing-parameter-mappings-using-the-plug-in-panel
Then you'll need to save it as a user preset to recall the NKS control assignments.
Regarding the "CCs" these are not exactly MIDI CCs, there is more than just MIDI information.
Please also note that you only need to set up the keyboard with the Komplete Kontrol application, it automatically populates the right controls. Using the Novation tool might be source of issues here. It could be the reason why you get some strange behaviour or "crazy things"
You should also check if the Komplete Kontrol application has MIDI CCs that could get in conflict:
You can click on the little x to clear any assignment there.

I really didn't understand OP's question, but I will attempt an answer anyway.
I don't know anything about Novation's other MIDI keyboard controllers, so I'll just restrict my comments to the SL MK3 model only.
The 49 SL and 61 SL MK3 models are very good controllers and both are on the list of supported controllers.
They have tons of options, multiple screens for controlling parameters, and they have key-lighting similar to Native's own Komplete Kontrol controllers.
Okay, here's a caution.
The MK3 versions of the Novation SL are now 8 years old. I don't know if they're still making them or if they're just selling warehouse stock at this point. Either way, if you buy one, you'll probably be happy.
But! If you're the type of person who buys something and then gets mad when the maker comes out with a new version, well then, you just may need to adjust your expectations. I have no idea if Novation is even working on a new version of the SL. But still, an 8-year-old model of any MIDI controller is getting really long in the tooth, and could be replaced with a new model at any time.
So if you buy one, I say lean into it hard, and get all the value you can from it. But don't complain if there's a MK4 version that shows up a month or two after you make your purchase!
But yeah, the SL MK3 is a good choice.
