Most painless way to set up my Komplete 14 on a second (windows 11) pc

Are there any experts that have gone through the trauma of moving all their music software to a new windows PC and can advise on the best approach? I have Cubase pro 13 with GA, Halion, Absolute, GA etc expansions, Komplete 14, Spitfire LABS, Impact Soundworks Fredonia organ (Kontakt) , soft synths like Vital. and Waves Element I’ll be moving from windows 10 on the old to 11 on the new PC.
As this is a NI forum I guess I'd better stick to NI transfer.
What of Kontakt interface preferencesd (eg. midi options), custom presets (eg. Massive, Monark, Super8 etc)
I’ve found some customisations are in the Roaming and Documents folders
eg4 C:\Users\MYName\documents\Native Instruments\Massive\Favorites
are there whole windows directories I can copy or I have to track down the right file for each VSTi or feature when I discover something doesn't work on my new PC as it did in the old?
I’d like to move Kontakt libraries (and Steinberg) data content without having to re download as it’s a huge amount of data. There are youtube vids about copying Kontakt libraries though one person said the relative location needs to stay the same , even the drive letter. This mostly wont be the case so would it be far safer to re-download it?
Feeling advanced trauma about this so would be extremely grateful of any advice.

You can copy the libraries onto a new PC, but you'll need to install the various effects and instruments.
When you've copied the libraries start up Native Access, go to Maintenance at the bottom left then click locate Content. Point the dialog box to your new content folder and it should recognise all the libraries and mark them as installed.
You should be able to copy the user folder onto the new PC as well to copy any user presets.
You can do the same kind of thing with most of the Steinberg libraries too. Install the various VSTs (GA, Halion etc) Copy the .VSTSOUND libraries to the new PC, make sure you have Steinberg Library Manager installed then double-click one of the library files. SLM should pick up all the libraries and register them correctly for the various applications.

Also I know not NI but do you happen to know how i find the files that store the cubase MediaBay ratings and tags? It would be a nightmare to lose them as I've spent a lot of time setting them up.
I am not sure if the below is valid anymore but as long as you do not delete the old setup then you ought to be able to go back and copy more if needed :

depending where you have tagged your presets (Cubase MediaBay or HALion MediaBay) you have to back up the specific user presets and DB files.
If you have tagged you presets in HALion you have to back up this locations:
“drive”:\Users"username"\Documents\VST3 Presets
for all User Presets.
“drive”:\Users"username"\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\HALion 4_64 (or HALion 4_32 for 32 Bit systems)
That’s where the MediaBay data base files (.db) are placed and where all changes of the factory presets tagging are stored.
If you back up these files and replace them after you have reinstalled Cubase or HALion everything should be fine.
But if you have tagged your presets in the Cubase MediaBay you should back up all the files in the documents folders as well as the complete DB folder (drive:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg).1

thanks a lot for your advice mykejb. excuse my ignorance but when you say
'You should be able to copy the user folder onto the new PC as well to copy any user presets' which user folder do you mean and which folder do I copy for the presets?
Also I know not NI but do you happen to know how i find the files that store the cubase MediaBay ratings and tags? It would be a nightmare to lose them as I've spent a lot of time setting them up. I can't be sure but think I may have stored ratings in some NI products.

The ratings/content database location for the current version of Media Bay is located here - %appdata%\Roaming\Steinberg\Steinberg MediaBay Server.
Take a look here for the locations of all the useful Steinberg locations - https://helpcenter.steinberg.de/hc/en-us/articles/360000327730-Location-file-paths-of-presets-in-Cubase-and-Nuendo
Copying the whole of C:\Users\YourName\documents\Native Instruments to the new computer will copy all of your presets for NI software.
And don't forget, if you need to upgrade anything still on eLicenser rather than in SAM be sure to do it before the licensing servers are shut down in May!
