Unable to open Kontakt correctly

At the moment I've installed and also uninstalled Access and Kontakt Player about 4 times. Allthough this effort I'm still unable to open Kontakt Player correctly. When I open Kontakt Player I only see an empy screen with above it 2 pulldown buttons ("File" & "Help"). When I select the "File"- button, I can select 2 possibilities, "Options" & "Exit". In case I select "Options" a green empty popup screen appears within.

Hope someone of you is familliar with this problem. By the way, I didn'd expext so many difficulties with installing an applicatieon. I'm not a nerd, nor a newbie I have to say in this matter!

What are your computer specifications ?

Does your computer meet the specifications ? especially with respect to graphics ?

Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, or Apple Silicon, 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended)
Graphics hardware support for Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0) or higher and OpenGL 2.1 or higher

Please notice that the question is not the Direct-X version but the Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0)

To find out then you can run the Windows DxDiag on your computer , simply search for DxDiag and run it

Then in the DxDiag report then select the Display tab (DxDiag page 2) and you will find the feature levels to the right at the bottom of list , please give us a screenshot of that.

Else you could also miss having some prerequisite installed or have some system file problem or your app functionality could be blocked by Windows or third-party security.
