Komplete Kontrol S88 MK1 and Maschine 3
is there a possible work around for getting my Komplete Kontrol S88 MK1 to work as intended with Maschine 3? It works perfectly fine with Maschine 2 but then just functions as a regular MIDI with none of the functionality that made this thing cost me so much money in the first place in Maschine 3.

The Komplete Kontrol mk1 reached end of support, you can read about it here: Notes on Ending Software Support for Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK1 Keyboards
It will never be supported in Maschine 3. You can still use it with Maschine 2.

You will need to use Komplete Kontrol v2.9.6 with any MK1 controller. (s49, s61 or s88)
If you have installed Komplete Kontrol v3.x (any version) - this is why you have lost all control. This version of KK is not supported by MK1 boards

it’s not officially supported in maschine 3
Why do you use maschine 3 over maschine 2 ?

Now that I think about it, really only for the stem Separation. I guess I can just stem separate, bounce and then open the files up in Maschine 2, since I really only use it sparingly anyway. It just sucks that I can't open any of my Maschine 3 saves in Maschine 2. I was making a lot of beats on the move and didn't notice my keyboard wasn't supported because I was mostly using my MaschineMK3. Thanks though! i guess I'll worry about Maschine 3 when there's actually an update worth migrating to.

no probs , that was my logic behind asking,
maybe you could try dragging and dropping
I’ve just had a test run dropping midi patterns from 3 to 2 , just drag to the piano roll
I know what you’re thinking , what about my groups or sounds I made
Well groups seem to be a no go , if I try to open a m3 group m2 crashes but ………..
Sounds do work , save a sound in maschine 3 , open it in m2 , I did it by dragging it to a sound slot from the m3 sound folder , cause I didn’t set up a shortcut to the folder , which is probably doable
Dragging Sound worked fine , fx chain and the samples / Rex file was intact
Hope that helps

thanks yeah this is helpful for anything I want to finish in Maschine 2. And I mostly use separate groups for each sound I use outside of drum kits so it’ll be easy to save the Sounds and migrate them to Maschine 2
