Can't load user patches after Komplete Kontrol Update 3.4.0

Hi,
I've updated Komplete Kontrol about an hour ago. I go to try to load user patches in stand-alone mode and none of them will load. Not even user patches for NI products.
Factory patches from NI products work fine, but I've checked all of the directories etc in settings and it all looks good.
Any Ideas?

@laserbeak Do you get an error message? Can you take a screenshot and post it?
Are there any products missing in Komplete Kontrol since the last update? SOme other users experienced something similar:

@Jeremy_NI Hi, No error message, just no response.
NA looks fine. I haven't noticed anything missing and I can load Factory patches just fine.
Please try renaming or deleting this file:

\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol\Browser Data\

Before I do this, what am I at risk of losing if I do it?

I've rescanned and the missing products that I've noticed are back, but I still couldn't load user presets.
I've renamed the database. Waiting for it to rebuild.

Hi, No. In fact, all user presets are gone now.

I've rebooted for a windows update and it's still here. Nice forum functionality.

I'll also note, i've had several users contact me in regards to this same problem, libraries in User do not show after updating to 3.4. Seems this is not a very good update so far.
Sub banks also still missing…

no threads I know off top of my head, just a few users contacting me direct with missing libraries after the update to 3.4. I’ve suggested they raise a ticket as it doesn’t sound right and until the sub bank issue is fixed at a minimum I’m not able to install and test the latest KK.

It seems to be Windows users afaik, I'm not experiencing this myself

Support says that the only thing that they can suggest is a recreation of my windows profile.
I'm not looking forward to this at all….
Does anyone have any tips to recreate my windows profile without losing a gigaton of data?
Any special backup tools, etc?

Where are your user patches?
I keep most of mine out of the documents/native instruments/user content and setup a custom user folder, then added that path to the user library tab - you could try that, I assume the actual NKS patches are still on your hard drive (obviously then run a manual scan of the database)

Yeah I have separate drives for audio, I'm just talking about windows in general. I feel like i'm going to say "oops forgot to back this up (and that and that and that)" and be pissed off

Well, TBH I would never accept I would have to create a new windows profile due to an issue, that is basically the answer of "oh, I have no idea what the issue is, just reformat your computer and start again…"
Not a solution.
If you were going to mess with that, i'd take a full system/os backup using something like Macrium, ideally you would already be using something like this to stave off any issues you may suddenly have, save you a massive headache when you switch your PC on one day and simply see the command prompt and nothing else.

I’m not referring to separate drives for audio but where your user NKS patches are stored- or are you saying you moved them onto an external drive? I which case maybe the path to them needs adding in settings?
