Mac download/move to new external drive ?

I have all the guitars from NI. My Mac is full and I want to download Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe to an external hard drive. How do I do that? Can I move some already installed instruments from Mac to external hard drive?

Hello carl Iz,
By changing the installation preferences you change the paths of your future installations,
I always highly advise following Native Instruments recommendations regarding file handling, this can help prevent several issues from occurring in the future.
How to Change the Install Locations in Native Access
Applications are best left default, the download location is negligible and the content location may be external if the format is supported.
We recommend using NTFS on Windows and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) on Mac OSX 10.12 and lower, APFS for 10.13 and higher.

Yes to all those questions..easily. But it's different on a Mac from a PC so I'll let someone that works on a Mac describe the process. There's probably some directions on Google for videos or manual pages that describe the process.

Use the latestversion of Native Access for your OS

For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System (APFS)
Also general Mac user check list :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on mac OS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
Also then do not use Clean My Mac.
And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
