Kontakt 7 issues under macOS

I joined the NI world with Komplete 14 some time ago. This includes Kontakt 7 which is running - well not so OK 🤨

I’m on macOS, M1 Pro. Latest Kontakt 7.10.7. - running it in Gig Performer 5 (and on Logic Pro)

I experience some quiet glitches/crackle when I load a library (e.g. Alicias Keys) when playing within the first 5 seconds. Even if a GP rackspace (i.e. an instance of Kontakt 7) is loaded/started) 20-30s before and idling: as soon as I start to play the first notes there are glitches, then everything is OK for ‘hours’.
Also some libraries like Session Horns showed up with delayed first notes like a 30ms latency when playing first time, then also after 2-3 more notes everything is and stays OK.

Anybody experiencing the same? What about the current Kontakt 8.2.0.?

I don’t think that I will upgrade to Komplete 15, but I could imagine updating to Kontakt 8 if these problems would disappear…

I know several discussions within the Gig Performer community - already about moving from Version 6.7.1 to 7.x in the past, some users still recommend to use Kontakt 6 - where I don’t have access to 

Any other ideas how to get up Kontakt reliably for live usage? Any tweaks/settings I could check (besides switching off sharing usage data generally)?

I’m running Kontakt 7 on a MacMini M4 with the latest OS update with no issues so far, I haven’t tried Session Horns yet and I don’t have Alicia’s Keys to try but Noire Piano works very well with this setup. One idea if you have a spare audio interface would be to try using a different audio interface and see if that makes a difference,

Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : Howto Enable Full Disk Access on mac OS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)

Also then do not use Clean My Mac.

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
