Dead in the water -

Have the Kontrol s88 n - attempted to add external storage - moving the
content location to the external drive" after doing that - nothing worked - change location back to what it was previously "/users/Shared" it failed to work. Followed the instructions on the NI site to uninstall and reinstall - nothing works and now I can't get a full install because I don't have sufficent space. All I want to do is restore functionality . My DAW is Log Pro X and the midi channel is set - I see the cord identification come through but none of the instruments load. I can see them in the keyboard browser - however when I select one (that has been installed on my MAC) nothing loads on the keyboard. I've spent hours trying to figure this out and could use some help if someone else has encountered this. Please…. J

Hello,
so you moved the libraries and used the relocate function within native access? Have you tried to open kontakt stand alone first and see if all instruments are there?

Hi Uwe303 - there are multiple versions of Kontakt installed. The Kontrol s88 works and the sound is coming through my Mac but not the DAW. However, if you look at the second Pic its capturing the cord (Dm) but no sound is coming through to the DAW.

If you have Content on internal drive and then copy to external then you should move or rename internal directory for things to work as N.A. does not like same content on two destinations.
Else make sure that you do not have a drive letter issue ! , ref. please check these two : DiosGnosis 2025, February 9 and Jeremy_NI , 2025, February 11 (So, the drive effectively has 2 names where Native Access is concerned with certain content insisting its with a '1' and others insisting its without.)
Otherwise then your issue could also be one of the other typical Mac issues :
Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS
If using Mac then you should do all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : Howto Enable Full Disk Access on mac OS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
Also then do not use Clean My Mac.
And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
Install / move help :
You should be able to click the three little dots right to the install options and there select Locate ,reference : Reinstalling a Komplete Bundle Without Re-Downloading Kontakt Libraries

How to Share KONTAKT-Libraries Between Two Computers Using an External Hard Drive
Quote : Important note for Windows users: Make sure the external drive always gets the same letter assigned by Windows. Otherwise, the KONTAKT libraries will not be found during use.
Storing Libraries on an External Drive for both Mac and Windows
We do not recommend storing your libraries and content on an external drive to be used by both a Mac and Windows computer. It may cause performance issues.
If using Native Instruments software on a Mac and Windows computer, we recommend using separate external drives specifically for each OS.
For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System(APFS)

If you play something, do you see the meters within kontakt, on the left side next to mute/solo/volume and pan. If i try this and load those two instruments they play fine over output 1-2 and both receive midi without any problems. Also set view to classic view might help here.

@joekoodray Let's go back to the basics. Is it a MK3 keyboard?
If you open Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol in standalone, is everything functional? Can you load your products and use them with the keyboard?
How are the products showing in Native Access? To repair?
Do Logic, Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol, the Hardware Connection service have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for responding.
Its a Kontrol s88 MK3,
Yes, when i open Kontakt 8 the instruments load and I'm able to play through my computer.
In Native Access all the products appear fine - all installed - none reading need repair
Full Disk Access: Komplete Kontrol; Kontakt; Kontakt 7; Kontakt 8; Login Pro; Native Access; NI_Support_Tool 2; NTKDaemon
Nothing plays in Logic.
Thanks,

Do you get any sound from anything at all in Logic?

Nothing plays in Logic.
Have you tried something 'simple' such as reset Logic ?
Plug-in Administration in Logic Pro
Also then apparently you can reset Logic to default by deleting this file: Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic10.plist
Else does your problem also happen when you use a new template in Logic ?
Else try reinitialize the KONTAKT Database
