Z1 mk2 firmware updater not detecting the controller

Hi all,

Just bought a z1 mk2, when launching traktor pro4, I am getting a message to update the firmware of the controller, a link redirect me to the updater which I can download and install.

Once the updater launched, it doesnt see any controller conected to the laptop, I press the rescan button but nothing happen...

Anyone came accross the same issue?

Hello,

have you started the firmware updater as administrator?

I am the only one using this laptop which i guess make me the administrator...I will check but I dont think so it is the issue, the x1 mk3 updater work fine...

Doesnt work as administrator either...

I guess the device updater is the correct one and the drivers get installed with traktor, if you connect the z1 you see it under device manager, so please contact support then:

I am not an expert but maybe this is just a windows limitation issue where one controller port cannot be shared across multiple apps. (i.e. close Traktor before startung the updater)

I have the same problem. When I use the updater it doesn't detect my Z1 when I do rescan

Make sure Traktor is not running when trying to update, if it doesn't work…. use another computer to update the firmware…..
