how to fix "calibration failed check needles and records" and audio clipping with traktor pro 3
I have a phase manager hooked up to a kontrol Z2 and two plx-500 turntables, running traktor pro 3 with win 11. I always get some subtle audio clipping and constant message "calibration failed check needles and records".

Don't worry about the timecode signal from phase. That's a known problem with Traktor because it doesn't receive a needle position. That's normal in any case and shouldn't have any influence.
BTW: The timecode itself shouldn't have any influence on your clipping either, this problem probably lies somewhere else. Wich filter and eq type are you using? is your master level in Traktor set correctly and wich type of limiter is activated? (Classic, Transparent, Ozone)?
Edit: you can disable the deck header warnings in the preferences.

You can try using other EQ types. There was an interesting post here in the forum recently about how the Z ISO setting can cause clipping. Despite this I would still recommend that you do not leave the master level in Traktor at zero and give it some "headroom" there.
"Incorrect" values ββin the autogain could also be responsible for the clipping. Sometimes the threshold is not recognized correctly when analyzing. Check the value set on the tracks where you have clipping.
