Roland TR-6s or Machine Mk3 with Traktor
Hello,
I'm thinking about getting a simple drum machine like the Roland TR-6S to use with Traktor.
After some research I came across Machine MK3.
What would you recommend to a beginner?
I actually want to add my own drums to existing tracks (change them). Is the Machine MK3 a bit overkill for that?
Can Machine replace the Roland drum machine?
What limitations do I have if I want to use Machine primarily as a drum computer?
Midi synchronization is supposed to work with both.
Music production is not my priority- maybe I try it later
My thoughts would be that if Machine can basically do what the Roland drum machine can do but otherwise offers even more options, that would of course be an interesting alternative.
I'm still a beginner in this area and would be grateful for any advice.

I thought my questions would be better placed in the Machine Forum
