Please grant permission to native access to install dependencies

Guys.. This has been bugging me for over a month now since I've upgraded my PC ( I kept the original HDD). When I started Traktor Pro 3 on a new PC, it thought that it was not licensed, even though the HDD is the same (weird, right ?). I then click into Activate, which opens Native Access and every time I do so, it says "Please grant permission to native access to install dependencies". I've been onto support for a month now and they keep asking me to install the new version of Native access or use the TKDaemon tool, which I've tried many times, but I'm back to square one every time I do try. This is very annoying, as I have not been able to record a mix or DJ properly for over a month now and it's my hobby:( Has anyone else had this issue? The version of Native Access I have is 3.16.0, which NI recommend to me.

Hi Uwe, I've tried everything - over a month back and forth with support. Nothing helped, but I have just figured it out by myself after going through a few different forums. The problem is Native Access VERSION 2. As soon as I installed the older version (1) and then installed release_1.22.0.0_NTK_DaemonFullInstaller_Win , I was able to start Native Access and sign into it without an issue. I am on WIN10 btw, so it's not a Windows version related issue. NI need to sort Native Access version 2

The "Native Access 2" as in latest version of Native Access for your OS (version 3.x.x) should generally work on Windows 10. Using Native Access version 1 is a very bad idea since it is not supported and also you will not get the updates that you might want and it will also not show all products either.

It is highly recommended that you work with support to fix the problem with Native Access 3.x.x ( latest version of Native Access for your OS)

NA 2 work fine on windows 10 and 11 as far as I can tell, but glad you sorted it.

@PoorFellow Well, If support don't have a resolution for Native Access 2, I'll stick to version 1, which works fine with my Traktor Pro 3 and Traktor Kontrol S2 Mk3, which I've had for years now. I couldn't wait any longer and had to dig into it myself, so I can get back to mixing, which is my no1 hobby :)
