Traktor 3 doesnt recognize my Kontrol S5

I own a Traktor Kontrol S5. I now have a new Macbook Air (M3/Sonoma 14.6). The Traktor software runs without any problems (version 3.11.1 17).
However, the software no longer recognizes the S5. I have tried everything and don't know what to do.


I have switched the controller on and off several times, checked the firmware (it is up to date and is also recognized by Device Updater), also switched the Macbook on and off several times.

As I can see from the homepage/compatibility, the Traktor software runs with version 3.10.0. My version is already more up-to-date and runs, but does not recognize the controller. What is the solution? I have tried all the “troubleshooter” tips and they have not helped.

Before I completely reinstall the program, I hope to get an answer from you.

    well i just reinstalled Traktor Pro 3 with Native Access and now it works perfectly :D

    You have granted Traktor Pro rights to access microphones in system settings? You can do this in Privacy & Security settings of macOS.

    yes traktor has access to the microphone :(

    Does it light up at all? Is it recognized by macOS as audio device? Means you can select it as system audio device in system settings → audio? Does it show up in macOS System Profiler in USB section?

    You wrote „no longer recognizes“: Has it worked before in this setup? Have you made any changes after it last worked? (New cables, software updates, system updates?)

    yeah lights work fine. cables are good. it still works with my older macbook air. it also shows up in the USB section.

    the "only" new thing is the macbook air M3… and Traktor was updated with the new M3.

    I'd try and see if the MIDI Mode still works and if the Controller Editor still detects the unit.

    Yes, I'm happy, but not satisfied. Maybe Traktor just a data cleanup...
