Hi, I just bought a traktor scratch pro 1 (interface, vinyls,etc) at a very low price, but then realized the software it includes is a version of traktor that can only be installed in windows vista…. didnt know traktor scratch was THAT old. Any idea if there is a way to use the traktor scratch hardware with a newer version of traktor software? or if there is a workaroud for this issue? thanks!

so you have an audio 8 or 4....normally you can mix with Traktor Scratch/Traktor pro (2) and 3...but up to macos High sierra at apple...and with the kontrol X1.. if you have a newer mac, you can throw everything in the trash, native didn't want to update the Audio or the Kontrol X1...

You could try the demo version of tp4

But you might need new vinyls.

At least for me my old Version 1 timecode vinyls also work in Traktor Pro 4. If I remember correctly the limitation for Version 1 timecodes no longer exists.

the vinyls work very well, I've had the MKII for 10 years, 0 problems.....but in short..

I have an audio 8. here is what I did: I tried using traktor 4 demo in a mac with Sonoma 14.6.1, needed to install the drivers for Scratch Pro downloaded from native instruments page 'support/downloads/driver-other-files' I used version 280, and everything worked perfectly fine with original vinyls I had. I'll just buy the full version of traktor 4 and I'm ready to go. Thank you all for your answers!!
