Maschine 3 MIDI Out: Random Freezes

Hi,

I've created a ticket, but am wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Maschine 3 + Maschine Studio: Maschine stops sending MIDI out on port 1 at random times. I cannot reproduce. The only way to fix it is to restart the software. Restarting the hardware does not work.

I'm going to switch to Port 2 and see if that changes anything, but it's a software issue, so I doubt it.

This is a very long standing bug affecting Maschine in Windows.

Way back in the past. Before this forum was used. So, lets say more than 10 years.

I can confirm. MIDI out randomly stops working after a while when running Maschine v3. It works again after software restart.

I've been using Maschine v2 on the same computer for several years without MIDI problems. I've still also got v2 installed and have confirmed that MIDI out works fine with that version over long sessions. The settings I'm using between the two versions are identical.

I seem to recall I initially had some MIDI issues with v2 as well but somehow managed to fix them. Sadly, it doesn't seem I documented how I did that.

Problem never really went away. just randomly happens.

Support did tell me to try this though. I missed the response to my ticket, I would've sent an update here earlier. I might do that today.

The following registry edit fixed it for me. Replace "Maschine 2" with "Maschine 3" in the registry path, of course.
