Is there a new Battery in Komplete 14 or 15 compared to 13?

I have Komplete 13. I mostly use Battery, and there is a severe bug where it cannot remember presets or settings, even if I close and reopen the plugin window (and obviously forgets them if the project is closed and then reopened). I use Logic 11.1 with Sonoma OS 14.7.2 on a Mac Mini M2. The bug existed even before that, with Logic 11.0 and a slightly older Sonoma. Do I need to pay for the upgrade to Komplete 15 to get a new Battery that'll work properly? The version of Battery I have is 4.3.0, and Native Access doesn't show updates available for it.

    I have Komplete 14 and it's the same version you have and most likely the same as 15. Unbelievable that this bug still exists in battery 4. It seems that NI are placing no interest in this plugin, certainly it's not high on the list to get fixed.

    I have 15 years of drum programing using Battery, i'm totally ****** up. this is a real Nightmare to be honnest. Not only opening old session for me or client became a joke, but working on new material with drums patches from my own Battery lib is absolutely not an option anymore. Battery 4.3 logic 11.1 sonoma.

    Maybe @Jeremy_NI could honnestly tell us if they even planed to fix the issue.

    What DAWs are in play here? I can open Studio One projects from 2015 with Battery in them and it just opens perfectly like I started the project yesterday.

    Curious to know what is in play here.

    Hey all, yes, this is a very long lasting bug. There is a workaround: I Cannot Relocate Missing Samples in Battery

    Of course it's not ideal. A new Battery 4 update is in the works addressing this bug and several others as well as official compaibility with Sonoma and Sequoia. I don't have a date to share yet but it should be there in early 2025.

    Unfortunately there is no version fixing this bug yet. No need to upgrade or pay anything, only a little bit of patience until this update finally sees the day.

    We have just shipped an update to Battery 4. It is already available in Native Access 2, although it may take longer to populate download servers worldwide. If you don't see it, keep refreshing!

    Changelog is as follows:

    • ADDED Support for macOS 15 Sequoia
    • ADDED Support for macOS 14 Sonoma
    • FIXED “Missing Samples” window was not triggered in some situations
    • FIXED Skipping “Missing Sample” could cause cells to remain blank
    • FIXED Komplete Kontrol crashes Logic Pro X when closed if hosting Battery
    • FIXED Project file including Battery instances increases in size every time it is saved (Cubase)
    • FIXED Moving cell broken after missing sample has been relocated
    • FIXED Vintage Sampler MP60/SP1200 modes do not affect output (Logic, Standalone)
    • FIXED Saved kit missing from user section in browser after resave
