Kore 2 for 64 bit DAW
When I installed Komplete 7 on Windows 10 I needed to install Cubase 8.5 in 32 bit so I could access songs created with 32 bit plugins. In order to use Akoustic Refraktions NI installed Kore Player 2.11 as a stand alone and vst plugin. I did not purchase it, but I do have the license code.
Most of the plugins were stored in a 64 bit folder, so happily I found they worked in the 64 bit version of Cubase. But this was not the case with Kore. I entered the serial number that is displayed in my stand alone version of Kore, but it was rejected. Is there a way to download the 64 bit Kore?
Strangely, my Kontakt 4 player will load the factory samples, but not the Pianos, organs, basses and drums from Komplete 7, calling them demos. The 32 bit Kontakt 6 player will load them but the factory samples are indicated as demos.

Yes, 2.1.4 is the first (and last) 64 bit KORE version. I have just installed in on my new Windows 11 PC. Native Access (1+2) cannot see it, but it is activated.

If I update to Kore Player 2.1.4, will I need to activate it again?
Logically, no, you will not need to activate again. This is 99,99% sure. …in theory!
But honestly?
I don't have the slightest idea how those archaic apps will react!
I can not give you a 100% guarantee. Maybe @Jeremy_NI or someone from the customer care team, can.
In worst case, if you still have the serial, you should just re-enter it without problem. But really i don't see any other option for you. You have to either risk it either forget your old projects.
And on a personal level, i have to tell you this: I am surprised that still there are 32-bit applications working in 2024 and even more surprised that people use them! I mean, at some point nothing of this will work at all any more, you know that, right? So, if you really want to go on with your music, i strongly advise you to update your stuff asap. There is no need to follow the "cutting-edge" technology but, you have to keep a minimum compatibility, at least with your operating system.

Yes, I get it. For me I think it is the challenge.

Just to confirm. The 2.4.1 update is needed to be able to be activated by Native Access.

Kore was retired ions ago. You might have to contact NI support as a last resource.

The last version of KORE is 2.1.4, which provides 64 bit support. You can download it from your NI-account.
KORE is running on my Windows 10 PC, but Native Access 2 cannot show it. I think you need Native Access 1 to activate: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/de/articles/360000407909-Native-Access-Installationsdateien-f%C3%BCr-%C3%A4ltere-Betriebssysteme?utm_campaign=legacy-installers&utm_medium=in-product&utm_source=native-access-2

I think this is what you need:
Update
15.12.2011
334.1MB
There are a lot more Kore related stuff, here:
About Native Access:
Before you go back to the legacy version, as suggested above, please try first Native Access 2, go to Preferences and check the "Show discontinued products" option. Not sure if will apply to Kore, but it worth a try.

Thanks. I have NA 1.14.1 but it did not accept the license. My version of Kore is 2.11. Is that 32 bit only?

I have tried NA1.14.1. You suggested NA 2. I found a file I must have downloaded earlier that was Native Access2.exe. I thought it would warn me before installing. When I ran it, it updated to version 3. Now I have to start over, I guess.

Sunborn,
Thanks for the links and the information. I should have mentioned in the OP that my version is Kore Player 2.1.1, and that it is activated even though it does not show up in NA. I have had unexpected problems in the past with updates, so I hope you can bear with me for one more question. If I update to Kore Player 2.1.4, will I need to activate it again?
Tonight I ran this download from the page you mentioned: " Komplete 7 KSD Add-on for KORE 2/ Kore Player Win." There were no problems detected when loading the stand alone or VST version in Cubase 8.5 32 bit. I would rather leave things alone and continue to use it in Cubase 8.5 than to lose its features in trying to use it in Cubase 9.What do you advise?

Thanks again. After backing up the c: drive, I installed the 2.1.4 update for Kore Player. It did not need to be reactivated. In fact, it still does not show up in Native Access. It functions well in both 32bit and 64 bit versions of Cubase.
