How can i troubleshoot a Maschine MK3

Hi All. Hoping someone can help. Today I bought a second hand Maschine MK3. The seller sent me the transfer license ID which I have used in Native Access and registered the device.

I hadn't seen it working and the advert for it did not state that it was faulty.

I plug into Maschine 2 and 3 software and all I get is this screen.

Im not sure where to go from here. I assuming its a software thing right now but need to be able make sure before I attempt to return it to the seller for a refund.

    Manual for MK3 would guide you through firmware an update for MK3 Device and compatibility with Windows. In my case I had to turn it off and on for proper booth. Try with the button on &off. You should be in controller mode by pressing SHIFT+MIDI button. Holding those two should show you MIDI controller layout.

    Try with control edit app you got from NI
