Can i go back to an older version of Kontakt

in Kontakt

I mostly use Komplete Kontrol, so I ignored the versions until Kontakt 7-player which stopped working after I tried to update. I don't know how to go back to my old version or how to uninstall Kontakt 7 Player.

And are the sounds \ settings I used with Kontakt 7 player go or do they move between versions? ( like 7 and 8 or Full and Player )

    If you are referring to projects in a DAW then only if the DAW supports migrating from e.g. Kontakt 7 to 8.

    If you are referring to using Kontakt as standalone then e.g. Kontakt 8 ought to be able to open something from Kontakt 7 but the other way around , using an older version to open opening projects made with a newer version probably will not work. Opening something made with a Player version ought always work using same Kontakt as Full version.

    Here is the link for KONTAKT 7.8.1 PC & Mac Else if you need an older version of Kontakt 7 then please tell what is the version that you have that does not work.

    The player loaded but it says "future Application version Need"
