Sustain Pedal isn't registering properly

I'm having an issues where all of a sudden my sustain pedal isn't registering properly

In MacOS MIDI Monitor the sustain pedal does not register when pressed/depressed. However when I insert the sustain pedal connector into the Pedal B port, MIDI Monitor shows "Portamento On/Off 0" and "Portamento On/Off 127". But pressing the pedal registers nothing in MIDI Monitor, only Portamento On/Off when plugging into and out of the Pedal B port. Nothing registers in the Pedal A port.

The sustain pedal functions properly because I tested it with MIDI Monitor and it registers just as expected with my Akai MPK mini mk2.

When I attempt to plug the sustain pedal into the Maschine itself, the sustain pedal seems to control the Play button, strangely enough.

I checked the settings inside of Komplete Kontrol standalone software and everything looks to be set correctly. I haven't changed anything.

The sustain pedal is critical to me and this problem is driving me crazy. Any ideas as to what could be the cause?

I'm thinking it could be a faulty hardware pedal ports because I'm not getting any readings via MIDI Monitor other than the strange "Portamento On/Off" reading when I plug in an out of the pedal b port.

NOTE: I did take the keyboard apart because I'm out of warranty and all the connectors appear to be fine.
