Using Kontakt 6 on someone else's computer

Maybe somebody here knows the answer. No response from NI and can't find specific info on website. In the band I am in we have a "band laptop". Older Windows machine that we run some sounds on. It's the drummer's computer but I would like to install my copy of Komplete 6 to use some of the instruments. The drummer has his own NI ID and Native Access tells him he can't just use the software registered in my name. I am a registered user of Komplete 14 and obviously want to keep using it on my own computer.

Can the Komplete 6 license be transferred without affecting my usage of Komplete 14? How?

Thanks

You can't transfer it to another user - without selling it outright. You can however install Native Access - and your specific product mix - on up to 3 different computers.

That said - I do not know what would happen if your drummer logged out of NA on his laptop and you logged in - and then started installing your stuff ON his laptop. I suspect that might really mess up his stuff.

NA is designed for a single user on a single device (but can be installed on up to three of them)

Thanks, that's what I suspected. Bummer though.
