Was the number of external audio inputs increased in Maschine 3.0?

I feel like I read somewhere that the number of external inputs (used to be 8 mono/4 stereo) was increased to 16 in Maschine 3.0 update but I can't find any official notes about that and I'm not in front of my computer to test it myself.

Does anyone know for sure if they upped the number? If so, that would be amazing especially once they allow the M+ to be able to accept more inputs.

It's mentioned in the Maschine 3 release notes. It's "up to" 16 stereo, 32 mono.

It was increased; thankfully.

Can anyone confirm the Plus will for sure be getting additional inputs with the 3.0 update?

Nobody can confirm this, but its implied considering there's an expectation of project compatibility (routings are saved in projects).

The more important question is, will we ever get improved USB Class Compliant audio performance? Without a better kernel level performance, those 32 potential inputs will not mean much..
