I can't update from NA1 to NA2 there is something missing: mia.lib
Please try the following solution for that :
In case of Native Access Won't Install because can't locate mia.lib file / missing mia.lib
then apparently the solution is to first install the old N.A. 1 again on top of existing N.A. 1 , at least it is worth trying , run both installers as an Admin :
First download and install the Legacy installer from here
then reboot computer
After that then install latest version of Native Access for your OS

Hello,
Native Access 1 is a legacy product. It is old and none of the new software versions can use it.
The only reason that it still exists is for compatibility with other legacy software or very old operation systems. You have to update to Native Access 2.You can't get someone from the support team?
Obviously, since it is Saturday night.
Try on Monday, or open a support ticket and they get back to you next days.
However, this will not solve your issue. The only way to get RX 11 to work is to update to Native Access 2.0 -
Or consider using what the rest of us use for all things IzoTope - IzoTope Product Portal.
Have never used Native Access for any of my Izotope stuff. And I have a lot of the latest product.

Hello,
thanx for your answer! Yes, it was saturday, sorry.

I'm afraid, to uninstall NA1 and then install NA2, because I do not want to lose access to my NI library.

Hello,
You must uninstall N1 first!
N2 is not an update, it is an entirely new application.

Indeed he can update instantly, but there are reports that users got the message "Unable to uninstall old version of NI NTKDaemon" and they went into troubles until they fix it.
So, in my opinion, it is always better to uninstall the older application first, if it has reports of incompatibilities.
Though your suggestion to install as Admin should prevent such errors… :-)

Thank you for sharing , yes , it is possibly a good idea to uninstall version 1 before installing version 2 if one keep getting errors. I only responded to the missing: mia.lib for which I believe that what I suggested would be the correct solution. If the user can not install N.A. 2 after having re-installed N.A. 1 on top of old N.A. 1 and do a reboot then indeed your suggestion to try uninstalling N.A. 1 would be appropriate. But generally speaking then when getting the missing: mia.lib error then user could get an error trying to uninstall N.A. 1 if not first having re-installed N.A. 1 on top of itself. At least that is my understanding of the problem.

Yes, I'm greatful for your help. 😀
Just one question: are there only users of NI or this a place with employees of NI?

Both. Mostly users but few NI employees too.

There is usually one or more N.I. "Customer Care" working the forum in day time on normal workdays. They are not in 'Support' department but more helps and answers question and can check state of support tickets. Also sometimes people responsible for different departments of N.I. products and sometimes answers questions (but people should not expect them to do so). And finally then in between then N.I. 'officers' have Q & A threads where they tell about the state of things and what's coming up and answers some of the questions people pose.
