I bought Maschine Version 1 ten years ago. I want to continue using it on my new laptop

I offloaded the software via disc from my previous laptop.

Do I have to find a CD drive somehow to put the CD in to it and load the software, with my registration and Product ID?

I have used the links provided by istvan.fodor@native-instruments.com to download the software, which seems ready for usage.

What's next? Thanks!

Assuming you have these three installers (from here):

Where to get Maschine 1 software — Community

Simply mount the Maschine v1.8.0 ISO file and run setup. Then add in the other two items.

But you did not specify what your new laptop is or what OS is it running.

As noted above - Maschine 1 was retired years ago and may not work on a 2024 OS.

It has opened to a prompt, but needs me to Activate, which is a dead end.

I go to activate and it is a dead end:

Install it as Demo and pray that Native Access will let you to activate it. Service Center has been depreciated few years ago.

Open Native Access and make sure that this is selected:

FYI, since Maschine 1 was discontinued ages ago, it's untested and not officially supported on Windows 11.
