Can I use my OG Maschine 1 console for the new Maschine 3 update?

I just want to pay the $99 and start making beats again. Can I use my console from 15 years ago, seamlessly?

Not supported, but does it work? They can be different things. He (and me) are asking if it works, even if the develoeprs don't support it in M3.

Many computers won't even recognise the Maschine Mk1, let alone enable it to make music.

I would plug it in and see if it actually works with the old version 2 software first. If it does at least you've got it up and running.

I wouldn't hold up much hope though.

And even if it does work, don't expect Maschine 3.0 software to work nearly as well as the version 2 software.

I have my Mk1 controller working with Windows 11 23H2 and Mac OS Big Sur. Apart from it not working with some earlier verson of Mac OS, it is now working. But if I pull the trigger on a new Macbook Air soon, that goes out the window :)
