My project crashes everytime i attempt to switch one of the sounds back to pad mode from keyboard mode, It's stuck in some sort of loop, No matter what i try, Application unresponsive, spinning wheel….I copied it, created a new track, deleted old one, Saved it, Same, Tried renaming the audiofiles so no weird characters, Saved, Saved with samples, No change.

It crashes the software & the hardware also glitches a bit, Tried reset, unplugging hardware & a different port for USB , No change.

When i force quit the software the hardware stays on the page it was on when it crashed, As soon as i touch it again it goes back to the blank screens when you 1st turn it on.

It's all up to date regarding software updates & the Mojave OS i run it on too. Never come across this issue in years using it. Torture as i have been working on this track for a couple of days 😫

Anybody experienced this & found a way of retrieving your project without the glitch?

    Thank you for the description.

If it happens repeatedly and only with this sample, the wav file may be corrupted. You could try converting the sample to a different lossless format and back to wav using some other DAW or freeware converter.

Sorry i am using Maschine 2 (2.16.1) software & Maschine 3 hardware so OS support isn't an issue…

    Does it happen…

    • only with a certain Sample?
    • only with the Sampler module?
    • with any other sound like Bass Synth?
    • in a new Project using any factory sound?
    • in a new Project using this specific Sample/Sound?

It's just one sound in the project, Sampler module, 1 scene. I am using a long part of it on one pattern & another part from a copy of it combined with the original on another pattern in the same scene. The copy of i was using a smaller part of the audio (a note) & transposing using keyboard. Never had this problem with this procedure before, I was thinking the audio is currupt or something but it's a WAV & the sample rate/bit depth is fine.
